STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Victims of e-bike collisions gathered Thursday in front of City Hall, holding up images of life-altering injuries and speaking out against the city’s latest policies on reckless operators.
“I am very happy to be here talking to you today,” said Bonnie Gerard, 83, in speaking about the head and leg injuries she suffered as a pedestrian on an Upper East Side sidewalk. “Please help us… so that we can go back to safety for all pedestrians.”
