ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester pediatricians say they are seeing more children and teens come into the emergency room with injuries from e-bike and e-scooter crashes.
Dr. Elizabeth Murray, a pediatric emergency physician at UR Medicine Golisano Children’s Hospital, said the injuries can range from minor scrapes to broken bones and severe head injuries.
“We can fix broken bones, but when your head or your brain is injured, that is often very hard to recover from and can be life-changing,” Murray said…
