Grant will allow Voices of Hope to provide free child care while parents attend recovery meetings

ELKTON — The Maryland Office of Overdose Response recently awarded $6.3 million in grants to non-profit programs fighting substance abuse and providing care and support for those affected by substance abuse.

Evolve Kids Care Inc. was one of those recipients, receiving $57,802 to provide child care at Voices of Hope in Elkton. Based in Pasadena, Md., Evolve Kids Care will be in charge of caring for children whose parent or guardian is attending recovery meetings at Voice of Home at 227 Howard St.
