Newby: Flock Camera System Gives Hopkinsville Police Valuable Investigative Tool

Hopkinsville Police Chief Jason Newby says the city’s growing network of Flock Safety cameras has become an important investigative tool, helping officers quickly locate vehicles connected to crimes, missing persons and other emergencies.

The department has installed Flock cameras at strategic locations throughout Hopkinsville, with similar systems also beginning to appear in other parts of Christian County. Newby emphasized that the technology is designed to assist investigations—not to provide constant surveillance of motorists.
