CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WKEF) — Thousands of people packed the streets of downtown Centerville for the Americana Festival, one of Ohio’s biggest Independence Day celebrations, as crowds from across the Miami Valley gathered along Franklin and Main streets to celebrate the Fourth of July.
Dave Paprocki, the festival’s publicity chair, said this year’s event drew record attendance and that seeing the turnout was an emotional moment.
“Standing at the top of the hill in Downtown Centerville, looking down Main Street to see the tens of thousands of people and the vendors, everyone kind of coming together from all over the mountain valley, all over the region,” Paprocki said. “It just makes me super proud to be a part of Centerville and obviously be American as well.”…
