COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCSC) — Sheriff Carter Weaver of Georgetown County has been selected as South Carolina Sheriffs’ Association‘s 2026 Sheriff of the Year.
Born and raised in Georgetown County, Sheriff Carter Weaver has nearly four decades of law enforcement experience.
His law enforcement career started in 1986, with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
