ALTOONA, Iowa — No charges will be filed after a dispute at the Meta facility in Altoona led to a shot being fired in self-defense, Altoona police said in a press release.
Officers responded to the facility, located at 100 Share Way NW, on a report of a shot fired just before 7:20 a.m. Wednesday. Dispatchers informed police there were no injuries and the armed person had already left the scene.
