Weather Alert Update for the Weekend (7/10)
A Flood Watch remains in effect through Sunday Evening. With the ground now more saturated from Friday’s rainfall, repeated rounds of showers and storms could result in some localized flooding through the weekend. An additional 1″-2″ of rain is possible but with locally higher amounts where slow moving storms move through. Please remember to never cross flood waters (Turn around, don’t drown).
There is also a Level 1 & 2 (Marginal & Slight) Risk for severe storms Saturday with the main threat once again being damaging wind gusts. Sunday’s severe risk is Level 1 (Marginal) area wide.
