Beasley Media Group has named Jen Scordo as the new weekday midday host at country WXTU Philadelphia (92.5). The appointment was announced Friday morning during “The Andie Summers Show,” with Scordo assuming the role immediately.
Scordo moves into the permanent position after serving as WXTU’s fill-in midday host since the departure of Mark “Razz” Radziewicz in May. A familiar voice to listeners, she brings more than 25 years of broadcasting experience across multiple Philadelphia radio stations and media outlets.
Her career has included roles in promotions and engineering at Greater Media, work as an audio technician and stagehand at NBC10 WCAU-TV Philadelphia, and midday hosting duties at “Cat Country 107.3” WPUR Atlantic City-Cape May, NJ. She also served as a producer and on-air personality at Beasley Media Group’s “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN-FM filled in as an anchor for the syndicated “This Morning with Gordon Deal,” and has worked part-time at co-owned rock WMMR (93.3) and mainstream rock WMGK (102.9)…
