RPO Under the Stars (Friday)
The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra is holding a free outdoor concert on Friday night at Parcel 5 in downtown Rochester. The orchestra will play film scores and the works of American composers to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary.
The Flower City Pride Band will open the show from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Then, the RPO will take the stage at 8 p.m. There will be a brief intermission during the show, and food and drinks will be available to buy. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. You can learn more about the show here.
Bands on the Bricks (Friday)
Bands on the Bricks is set to kick off at 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., continuing every Friday night throughout July. A band called Into the Now with Special Guest Judah will be performing. It’s at the Rochester Public Market.
Seating is limited, and attendees are asked to bring folding chairs. Pets, drones, skateboards, personal food or beverages, except for one sealed bottle of water per person, are not allowed. Bags will be subject to search…
