TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A large tree toppled onto a vehicle during severe weather in Tallahassee on Tuesday evening, killing both people inside, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
Police said the fatal crash happened around 5:17 p.m. in the area of Barclay Lane and Godfrey Place. Tallahassee Fire Department crews responded within minutes of the initial call, and life-saving measures were attempted, but both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
