DANDRIDGE, Tenn. (WATE) — One man is injured and another is facing charges after a shooting at a home near Dandridge Saturday evening.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the home in the 1000 block of Meadow Wood Circle around 9:43 p.m. Saturday because of a reported shooting. At the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen.

The victim was taken to UT Medical Center. He is listed in stable condition, the sheriff’s office said.
JCSO explained that based on evidence collected at the scene and information obtained by Criminal Investigations Division Investigators, Charles Allen Widby, 44, who lived at the home, was arrested.
