The Iowa State Patrol says the crash occurred shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday near Mitchell Line Street and Foothill Avenue, in southern Mitchell County. Authorities say a 2018 Mahi Roxor, a large UTV, was traveling along the road when it moved over for an oncoming vehicle and drove off the roadway.
The passenger side tires struck a culvert which caused the UTV to roll onto it’s side, the ISP report states. Authorities say there were two occupants and both were ejected, neither was wearing a seatbelt.
