BEAVERTON, Ore. (KATU) — Beaverton police have arrested a 19-year-old accused of lighting and throwing an illegal firework in a parking lot.
“The firework exploded as a vehicle drove past, igniting dry grass in a nearby field,” Beaverton police said. “The suspect and his friends called 911 to report the fire but left the area before first responders arrived.”
