Every day, tens of thousands of employees, contractors and visitors pass through Redstone Arsenal’s security gates, often spending only a few seconds interacting with the Department of the Army security guards who stand watch over one of the Army’s busiest installations.
While the exchange may be brief, the responsibilities carried by those guards are anything but simple.
