KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Residents at Lilac Hills apartments, off Drake Road in Kalamazoo, are questioning who is responsible for addressing the “frustrating,” seemingly worsening, living conditions they say they have been dealing with for years, including descriptions of piling garbage, mold, bed bugs, cockroaches, broken appliances, long waits for repairs, and security concerns.
Lilac Hills is a Hope Network property, which provides affordable housing under the federal HUD program, through Section 8 and Section 236.
