NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — This is one of the biggest back-to-school giveaways in the City of New Orleans.
Officials from InspireNOLA stopped by the WGNO studio to invite the public to come out and also talk about a special guest coming to rally the students.

LBJ: Amongst the city’s most dynamic charter organizations is InspireNOLA, and joining us, CEO Jamar McNeely and student leader JaRyan Berryhill, who’s a senior over at Edna Karr. JaRyan, as a senior, that means you’re a leader on campus and InspireNOLA. How do you attempt to lead the younger students over at Edna Karr?
Berryhill: So, what I do is I set the example. I think it’s important that you show them that you can do this. You can be a leader. You can lead schools. I come from Andrew H. Wilson. Most of Edna Karr comes from Alice Harte. So, I had to come in there. I had to set the example, represent my school, represent the East Bank, and it’s just showing them that they can do it.
