FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – If you are smelling smoke Friday morning, it could be coming from the “Fields Fire ” burning in Merced County near the town of Snelling.
According to Cal Fire, the “Fields Fire” started at 1:46 p.m. Thursday, and as of Friday morning, the fire is 40% contained and is 1,100 acres. The fire is located near La Grange Road and Fields Road.
