CLEVELAND — Isaac Robb, the Chief Urban Program Officer at the Western Reserve Land Conservancy, walked around a group of roughly five parcels of land in the St. Clair neighborhood of Cleveland. Grass is overgrown, and trees and vegetation have grown wildly.
“Here’s a perfect example of things that have kind of grown up through the fence line,” said Robb.
He explained that a $10 million grant from the Bezos Earth fund will help the conservancy, in partnership with the City of Cleveland, be able to transform the abandoned parcels to make them inviting and manicured green spaces…
