FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – With that heat approaching, local HVAC crews are reminding homeowners to make sure their air-conditioning systems are properly maintained.
James Buschman with Lee’s Air, Plumbing & Heating said older units can struggle as temperatures rise, especially systems that have been in use for 12 to 15 years or longer.
“It’s about average for this time of year. But we’re seeing older units, units that have been in use for, you know, 12, 15 years or longer. And they’re no longer energy efficient,” Buschman said…
