San Francisco daycare where 3-month-old died had previous complaint of children left unattended

The San Francisco childcare home where a baby died over the weekend has faced allegations of leaving kids unattended and in a harmful environment, according to records reviewed by the Chronicle.

State regulators found the two complaints filed in December 2023 against Mama Nida’s Loving Arms Childcare lacked evidence, but one investigator said that “the allegation may have happened or is valid,” the records show.
