A group of former clients has filed a lawsuit accusing immigration attorney Alexandra Lozano, who marketed herself as the “Miracle Lawyer,” of defrauding thousands of her vulnerable immigrant clients.
According to the complaint, Lozano used religious imagery, including La Virgen de Guadalupe, in her marketing while allegedly charging clients thousands of dollars for immigration services. The lawsuit was filed by dozens of former clients represented by attorney Vicente Omar Barraza.
“She found this market, a vulnerable market, a fearful market, a desperate market, and created a system that reported with religious imagery to produce miracles, and now their miracles are turning into nightmares,” Barraza said…
