FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — More than 1,000 volunteers fanned out across Fresno on the city’s sixth Citywide Community CleanUP Day, hauling away thousands of pounds of trash in a two-hour push aimed at making neighborhoods, parks and riverfront areas cleaner.
Mayor Jerry Dyer joined 1,026 volunteers who took part in 65 group and individual cleanup projects across the city as his Beautify Fresno initiative marked the sixth annual event.
