FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Three Valley counties are monitoring almost 150 agricultural workers for measles who recently moved from Arizona, the Fresno County Department of Public Health said.
Fresno, Madera, and Merced counties, along with the California Department of Public Health, said the workers came from an area in Arizona where there is an ongoing measles outbreak.
In a joint media release, the departments confirm that these workers were exposed to the viral infection prior to arriving in California, and said more exposed ag workers will be arriving in the next few days…
