TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Nearly 19 years after Jaliek Rainwalker disappeared from Greenwich, his case remains unsolved. On Sunday evening, more than a dozen people came together in at the Burden Pond Preserve in Troy to keep his memory, and the search for answers, alive.

Jaliek went missing in November of 2007 when he was just 12-years-old. He’d been living with his adoptive father, Stephen Kerr, in Greenwich. Kerr said that he found a note the next morning, and police later named him a person of interest. No one has ever been charged, and the case has been classified as a probable homicide.
NEWS10’s Amber Fisher spoke with Jaliek’s biological mother, Pamela Boyd. “If you know something, please say something. It’s been 19 years. Jaliek would have been 31.” She continued, “My son is dead. He didn’t go to Albany, he didn’t go join some gang or whatever. If you know something, please say something,”
Shaquana Stephenson and Jessica Von Guinness are administrators of the group “Justice for Jaliek Rainwalker.” They said that they organized the gathering at the preserve because police searched Burden Pond in 2022 on a tip…
