TROY, N.Y. (WNYT)- Troy Pig Out will bring barbecue, music, vendors and a hot dog eating contest back to downtown, according to the Downtown Troy Business Improvement District (BID).
The event is set for Sunday, Aug. 16, from noon to 5 p.m. in Downtown Troy. Guests can sample $4–$5 bites from competing restaurants and pitmasters and vote for their favorites for the 2026 Pig Out Champion of Downtown Troy.
“The Troy Pig Out is one of those signature summer events that brings people together to experience everything our city has to offer,” said Mayor Carmella Mantello. “Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting for the first time, it’s a great opportunity to explore our vibrant downtown, enjoy some incredible barbecue from talented vendors, and take in the fun, family-friendly atmosphere that makes Troy so special.”…
