CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Clovis Police gave the public a look into how they use their Drone First Responder, using video of suspects being arrested.
In the video released on Tuesday, which can be viewed in the video player above, drone footage shows a person being arrested in February 2026, tracking a mail thief in March 2026, and a pursuit of a DUI U-Haul driver in May 2026, according to police.
Clovis Police say that from January 2026 to June 2026, their two Drone First Responders (DFR) have:
- Taken 603 flights
- Assisted with 86 arrests
- Located 166 persons
- Responded to scenes before officers 56% of the time
