One restaurant has already gone public with the news and has signs up on the building. Newk’s Eatery is headed to the new Shops at Avante II shopping center at 3905 N. Ridge Road.
The restaurant recently opened its first location at the Waterfront at 10310 E. 13th St. N. It’s a fast casual chain that specializes in sandwiches, pizza, soups and salad.
Newk’s is aiming for an October opening time frame.
Also going in at the Shops at Avante II shopping center will be a Starbucks which I’m hearing will take over the south end of the strip that Newk’s Eatery will go in. Currently SweatHouz is the only open business in that part of the strip…
