DENVER (KDVR) — A driver was cited following a crash that involved an ambulance carrying a patient, Boulder Fire-Rescue said in a post on X on Friday.
Around 10:24 a.m., Boulder Fire-Rescue responded to reports of an accident involving a Falck ambulance and a sedan at the intersection of 28th Street and Colorado Avenue.

The ambulance had its siren and lights activated while it was transporting a patient. After the crash, the patient had to be transferred to another ambulance and was taken to Boulder Community Health for further medical treatment.
