Residents in Hungry Valley are urged to stay alert as fire officials monitor multiple wildfires in the area, even as the community is not under evacuation orders at this time.
The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony issued an alert saying Hungry Valley is “NOT under evacuation at this time,” but that Hungry Valley Fire has been activated and is monitoring the newest Fred, Ironwood and Bug fires. Residents are told to be prepared in case conditions change by gathering medications, important documents, clothing, water, pet needs and other essentials.
