COLD SPRINGS, Nev. — Federal officials have approved emergency funding to help Nevada fight the Bug Fire in Washoe County, where the blaze has threatened thousands of residents and homes.
The FEMA Region 9 acting regional administrator authorized the use of federal funds to assist the state in combating the fire, according to a news release from FEMA.
