PALMER TWP., Pa. – A preliminary/final land development plan for the second phase of a major project was tabled at the applicant’s request Tuesday night at the Palmer Township Planning Commission meeting.
The Easton Area School District is proposing to build a new high school at 2601 William Penn Highway and South Greenwood Avenue. The redevelopment would replace the existing high school with a new 250,444—square-foot building and new parking lots. The site would maintain two access points from South 25th Street and William Penn Highway.
The project’s second phase scheduled for review Tuesday night focused on the new high school and current building demolition on the 45.7-acre parcel.
