ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Illinois Secretary of State’s office announced nearly $29 million in state funding today for library and literacy programs across the state, with several grants awarded to organizations in the Stateline area.
The state grants are designated to help institutions fund day-to-day operations, support online catalogues and maintain adult literacy programs.
