OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – An Omaha car owner says he unexpectedly drove over a hazard at a railroad crossing that caused damage to his vehicle.
A First Alert 6 investigation found the gap still open more than three days later — and prompted a same-day repair.
The hazard
Rick Correa was driving over the Gilmore Avenue railroad crossing on a dark, cloudy Monday morning when his right front tire dropped into a gap that had developed between a pair of concrete panels in the crossing.
