‘Struggling’ teen pleads guilty to manslaughter after being paid $2,000 cash to carry out hit

Anthony Torregano Hayes was 18 when police say he accepted $2,000 cash to carry out an afternoon hit on a 44-year-old man because the teen was “struggling.”

Hayes, now 20, pleaded guilty Wednesday to reduced charges of manslaughter and possession of a stolen firearm. His sentencing is scheduled for later this month.
