SPOKANE, Wash. — A 73-year-old woman is dead after suffering medical complications while evacuating from the Old Trails fire, says her daughter, Kim Speedy.
Kim Speedy said her mother, Pat Speedy, was a hospice patient at the Spokane Health and Rehabilitation nursing home and was stable for about six months.
