ST. LOUIS – A man who once used his position to embezzle hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars has now served his time and is working again. The man’s new boss says he not only knows about his past but says hiring him was a great decision.
The executive director for the St. Louis Metropolitan Taxicab Commission defended hiring Dan Stritzel.
Stritzel pleaded guilty to embezzlement in 2014. He was St. Louis’ chief park ranger at the time when he admitted embezzling about $472,000 from taxpayers in partnership with a park commissioner who was also convicted…
