BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office identified the cause and manner of death for an inmate who was found unresponsive inside a jail cell on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
Deputies confirmed the cause of death for Darren Dorman Jr., 46, was Hypertensive Heart Disease. The manner of death was ruled natural, WBRSO said.
