During my 20s, I spent a LOT of time enjoying drinks with friends at Oscar’s Pub and Grill, and I was very bummed to see them permanently close in June.
I have so many fond memories of the years I spent having fun at Oscar’s, and when I first read about its closing I immediately thought: “Wait…does this mean Jax Pub in Loves Park is next?”
Oscar’s owner Brad Fosberg also owns Jax Pub, so it wasn’t exactly a crazy question to ask, especially since Fosberg’s retirement was the reason given for Oscar’s closing…
