WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) — A new Mediterranean restaurant is set to open later this year along Alpine Avenue in Walker.
Renovations are underway now at Dubai Bites, located at 2260 Alpine Ave. NW south of 3 Mile Road. That’s the former site of Mr. Gyros, which closed in 2023.

The restaurant is truly a family effort, according to Andrew Shmona, the brother of owner Leo Shmona.
