28th Street Metro Cruise returns with slightly shortened hours

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Classic cars are making their way down through Wyoming Friday and Saturday for the popular 28th Street Metro Cruise.

Organizers of the 21st annual event expect tens of thousands of car enthusiasts to come by as people cruise a 13-mile stretch of 28th Street.

The main event at Rogers Plaza includes the marquee collector car row, showing off some 340 cars and trucks, the Miss Metro Cruise competition, events for the kids and plenty of food. The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was expected on site from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
