ST. LOUIS – Aug. 21 marked the beginning of the two-day faceoff between the Savannah Bananas and the Loco Beach Coconuts at Busch Stadium. Before the game at 7 p.m., FOX 2 spoke with fans around the stadium about what they enjoy when watching the Savannah Bananas play Banana Ball.
“It’s fun, it’s a great time, it’s action-packed,” said Shirley Ryan, attending the game with her family.
“It’s just kind of fun to, you know, be out in the crowd and hear the different songs they do, the activities, the games,” said John Uccello, visiting from Springfield, Missouri, with his wife and daughter. “I like seeing the trick plays, and honestly, I like seeing them kind of mess them up too.”…
