COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The heat continues this weekend with highs in the middle 90s. Some good news though, there are no heat advisories for the area as heat indices will be closer to the actual air temperature. I can’t rule out a stray storm or two this afternoon but most look to stay dry for Saturday.
A cold front will begin to approach the area early Sunday morning and will move through during the late morning into the afternoon, this will likely push the last bit of oppressive humidity out and usher in drier air. High temperatures on Sunday will reach the mid 90s once again but it won’t feel as sticky like it has over the last week.
Behind this front, less humidity and seasonable temperatures, this will be a welcomed sight as we start the new work week. A mix of sun and clouds for Monday, I can’t rule out a stray shower or storm but at the moment, most look to stay dry…
