A 35-year-old Silver Springs man was arrested after deputies discovered he was allegedly attempting to sell a stolen truck on Facebook Marketplace during a prospective buyer’s test drive.
On Saturday, August 15, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy pulled over a Dodge Ram pickup truck in the 16300 block of NE 13th Lane in Silver Springs. The deputy noted in the arrest report that the vehicle did not have a license plate.
The report stated that the deputy made contact with the driver, who stated he was test-driving the truck with the intent to purchase it. A passenger, identified as James August Kuchar, allegedly claimed ownership of the truck and said he listed it for sale on Facebook Marketplace…
