One of the biggest rappers working today finds himself in some hot water. News in Dallas and Fort Worth reported BigXthaPlug getting arrested by local authorities. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, marijuana possession, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Currently, there are no additional details that lend context to what led to his arrest.
We do know that he was slated to perform at the Country Rising Festival on the same day he got arrested. The rapper born Xavier Darnell Landum pulled out due to a “personal emergency.”
“The Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball club and Blue Cross park understand the disappointment and frustration surrounding the absence of BigXthaPlug from the Country Rising Festival,” they wrote in a statement. “Country Rising festival is an independently promoted event being held at Blue Cross Park. The ballpark is serving as the hose venue only and is not responsible for the event’s programming, artist bookings, scheduling, or related decisions. As the host venue, we share the disappointment and frustration felt by those in attendance.”…
