GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — House Rules Board Game Lounge in Grand Rapids kicked off a major expansion Monday, which will nearly double the amount of people it can host.
The board game lounge at 404 Ionia Ave. SW near Wealthy, which boasts 600 board games, a bar and a kitchen, says its current 130 seats just aren’t enough.
“We’re full all the time. We’re busy every single night of the week,” Nathan Murray, co-owner and “frog king” of House Rules, told News 8 Monday in a phone interview. “We turn people away every day. We probably turn a hundred people away on the weekend.”
