A Raceland Middle School teacher was named the 2026 Outstanding Middle School Math Teacher of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Teachers of Mathematics (LATM).
Tyler Dufrene, who currently serves as a sixth grade math teacher at Raceland Middle School, will be honored at an awards ceremony on Friday, Nov. 13 during LATM’s Joint Conference with the Louisiana Science Teachers Association (LSTA) at the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge.
