EUGENE, Ore. – Marist High School senior CJ Jones has been selected for the 2027 Navy All-American Bowl.
Over the last several years, Jones has worked to become the No. 1 punter in Oregon and No. 6 nationally in the class of 2027. He persevered through two ACL injuries and adversity on the field to become one of only a handful of Oregonians to ever be selected to the game.
“I’ve always had just kind of a thing for kicking a football, and once I realized, hey, this is what I wanna do, I started working with guys like Chris Saylor and then Josh Bidwell, who you’ve probably heard of,” Jones said. “I’m super grateful, and I just wanna come out here and represent Marist and represent the community in general.”…
