DENHAM SPRINGS — A Denham Springs couple is grateful after their car was found just days after it was stolen from their apartment complex. The car was located a short distance away from where they lived, just down the road.
Livingston Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested a juvenile after two stolen cars were recovered earlier this month. Both vehicles were stolen out of the same apartment complex just outside Denham Springs city limits, officials said. Because of his juvenile status, his name and photo will not be released. UWK has learned it was a 14-year-old who allegedly stole the vehicle.
Mary Wells and her husband discovered their car was missing after he went to leave for work on the morning of Aug. 8.
