BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Hot with a few storms today before higher rain chances return to end the workweek, bringing a threat of heavy rainfall.
TODAY’S FORECAST
After another warm, humid morning, it will be even hotter this afternoon than yesterday, with highs climbing into the mid to upper 90s. Heat index values could peak in the range of 105°-110° in some areas.
Only isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon, but those that develop could be strong to severe.
